ParentSaathi Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, accessing or using ParentSaathi, you agree to these Terms of Use and the ParentSaathi Privacy Policy.
Do not use ParentSaathi if you do not agree to these terms.
2. Who may use ParentSaathi
ParentSaathi is intended for adults who are parents, guardians or caregivers.
The app is not designed for children to create accounts or use independently.
3. Parenting guidance only
ParentSaathi provides general parenting information, activities, organisational tools and AI-assisted suggestions.
The content is provided for educational and informational purposes and should not replace parental judgement or professional advice.
4. Medical and developmental limitations
ParentSaathi does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, emergency assistance or professional developmental or mental-health assessment.
Contact an appropriate qualified professional when you have concerns about a child’s health, safety, development or well-being. For an emergency, contact local emergency services.
5. AI-generated information
Some ParentSaathi responses and journey insights are generated with artificial intelligence.
AI-generated information may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated or unsuitable for a particular child. Parents and guardians must independently review suggestions before acting on them. If a response appears unsafe, offensive or misleading, use the in-app Report action so it can be reviewed.
6. Parent and guardian responsibility
You are responsible for deciding whether any activity, recommendation or routine is safe and appropriate for your child’s age, abilities, health, environment and circumstances.
Children must receive appropriate adult supervision.
7. Account responsibilities
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account and should notify support if you suspect unauthorised access.
8. Information and photos you provide
You retain responsibility for child information, records and photos that you upload.
You must have the right and authority to provide that information. Do not upload unlawful content, government identification documents, financial information or content that violates another person’s rights.
9. Acceptable use
You must not use ParentSaathi to:
- Harm, exploit, harass or endanger a child or another person.
- Submit unlawful, abusive, deceptive or malicious content.
- Attempt to bypass security controls, usage limits or payment requirements.
- Reverse engineer, disrupt or interfere with the app or its services.
- Use automated systems to overload, scrape or misuse ParentSaathi.
10. Free and paid features
ParentSaathi may offer free and paid features. Available features, usage limits, prices and subscription options may change before or after public release.
When paid subscriptions become available, the price and billing terms will be shown before purchase. Purchases, renewals, cancellations and applicable refunds will be handled through the platform where the subscription was purchased.
11. Availability and changes
We may update, improve, restrict, suspend or discontinue features when needed for security, maintenance, legal compliance, cost control or product development.
Continuous and error-free availability is not guaranteed.
12. Account suspension or termination
Access may be restricted or terminated when an account violates these terms, misuses the service, creates security risk or is required to be restricted by law.
You may permanently delete your account and associated family data from the Profile and family screen.
13. Intellectual property
ParentSaathi’s software, branding, original interface, design and app content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These terms do not transfer ownership of ParentSaathi or its intellectual property to users.
14. Disclaimer
ParentSaathi is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no guarantee is made that every response, record, calculation or suggestion will be accurate, complete or appropriate for every family.
15. Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, responsibility for losses arising from reliance on general or AI-generated guidance is limited.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
16. Changes to these terms
These Terms of Use may be updated when ParentSaathi features, business arrangements or legal requirements change.
The effective date displayed at the top will be revised when material changes are made.
